2. What data we process and why
Browsing data
Like any website, the hosting provider’s servers automatically log some technical data for each visit: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser type and operating system. These data are used only to operate the website and keep it secure (for example to prevent abuse or attacks) and are not used to identify visitors.
- Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: for the strictly necessary period set by the hosting provider, unless needed to investigate criminal offences.
Data you send us when you contact us
If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, or call us, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your message) only to reply to you and give you the information you requested.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to the messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: [da compilare] from the last contact, unless the law requires otherwise.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your message is also processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited in accordance with its own privacy policy.
External links and bookings on Airbnb
This website does not load content from other websites. It does contain links to Airbnb, Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram: when you open them you leave this website, and the processing of your data is governed by the privacy policies of those services.
Bookings take place entirely on Airbnb, which processes the data needed for booking and payment as an independent controller, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
3. Cookies
This website does not use cookies or any other tracking tools. Full details are available in the Cookie policy.
4. Who we share data with
Data may be processed on behalf of the controller by the website’s hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, California (USA)) and by email service providers, acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Data are not sold, shared with third parties for marketing purposes or disclosed to the public.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
If the hosting or email provider is based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States), the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR). 6. Your rights
At any time you can ask the controller:
- for access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- for rectification (Art. 16) or erasure of your data (Art. 17);
- for restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- for data portability (Art. 20);
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
To exercise your rights, write to [da compilare]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
7. Whether providing data is mandatory
Providing your contact details is optional, but without them we cannot reply to your requests. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
